dear baby. post 9.

dear baby,

we finally saw you and heard your heartbeat! it was so much fun and we were so excited about it all day long! we didn’t plan on seeing you but i called the midwife clinic and set up my free gender ultrasound (only we didn’t find out your gender). it was so much fun to see your dad so excited and smiling so much. he already loves you so much and so do i.

the midwife said you are measuring a little small, but i think it is just because we got the ultrasound when i was exactly 15 weeks so i’m thinking that you just needed a few more days to bulk up. i have been having a lot of cramping and stretching pains so i know that you are growing bigger and bigger.

we have finally announced your upcoming arrival to the world. i think most people were pretty shocked because we had kept it quiet for so long, but we are really excited and we know that you already have so many people that love you!

we have started packing up our apartment and are getting ready to move in with your grandpa and grammy at the end of the month. it will be nice to live when them for little while and save some money and hopefully be able to get a house of our own where you can have your own nursery! some day! probably not super soon, but you’ll still be pretty small so you probably won’t know any better.

we are excited to see you again next month. until we see you, grow bigger and stronger and show that midwife that you are exactly as big as you need to you.
