dear baby. post 18.

dear baby,

your daddy is out of town with his band right now. they are on a west coast tour. they have been gone since last saturday and it has been a very long week. it was mine and your dads third anniversary on sunday and before he left we were able to go and stay at the grand america in salt lake. it was so nice to be able to spend time together, uninterrupted. we feel very lucky to have each other and to be able to have you joining us very soon. we talk about you all the time and can’t wait until we can actually hold you in our arms.

you are growing a lot and i am starting to show a lot more. you are constantly kicking and moving and i love being able to feel you move around. it is such a magical feeling. i hope you feel safe and secure and know how loved you are. you already have so many people that love and care about you. i hope you can feel that love.

we are almost to less than 100 days until your due date! i can’t believe how fast time is going. we have a lot to do to get ready for you to come but we have a lot of family and friends around to help us. we are so blessed to be surrounded by so many people that love and care for us.

the third trimester is only a few weeks away and it is so crazy to think that we are nearly in the home stretch. of course, three months is still a long time, but the past six have gone by so fast, i can’t imagine how fast these next few will go. especially with how busy we are this time of year! it is so exciting to think about your being here for christmas. hopefully thanksgiving too if you’re ready to come by then.

we love you so much little one. i hope you know that and you never forget it.
