dear baby. post 11.

dear baby,

you are now 18 weeks old! congratulations you are almost halfway done! the past 11 weeks since we found out about you sure have been a rollercoaster. but the most enjoyable one ever. pregnancy hasn’t been the easiest for me, but i try to enjoy the little things and look past all the uncomfort.

today we are finishing up our moving project. it has been a very long process which i am grateful for because i have been able to move things gradually and not get too exhausted or overwhelmed. we moved most of the big stuff last weekend and we are going to finish moving everything else today. it will be nice to finally be settled, but i am not excited about having to go clean our old apartment. as much as i tried to keep it clean over the past few weeks, it just hasn’t happened. it’s okay though. your grandma will be there to help.

a couple of days ago your daddy was able to feel you kick through my belly. it was hard for him to feel it at first and you were being a little stubborn and didn’t kick for a while but he finally felt it and got a great big smile on his face. it is so sweet to see how much he already loves you. the next 22 weeks better fly by cause we are already anxious to meet you!

we love you baby and can’t wait to see you in a couple of weeks.
