dear baby,

you are growing so much these days! my belly is getting bigger and bigger and sometimes i forget just how big it is until i look in the mirror and see it there. it’s an exciting time. your daddy really likes to feel you kick and move and he tells you that he loves you every day. by this point, your little ears are developed and i know you can hear him. he’s going to be such a sweet daddy to you. i can’t wait to see him take care of you. i know that he is going to do such a good job.

we are hoping that your dad gets a new job this week. he had some interviews that went really well so we will just wait until next week to hear. we are especially hoping that he gets it so that we can get insurance for you and be able to get you the best care that you need.

i bought your first package of diapers this week. it was an exciting day. i don’t know why buying diapers was exciting, but i guess it just gets me thinking about the day that you will be here and how happy we will be. we cannot wait to meet you.

i have been having lots of thoughts that you are a boy. i don’t know why i think that other than the two dreams that i have had. your dad, on the other hand, had a dream that you are a girl. so, we really don’t know. i cannot wait to be surprised when you finally decide to join us.

i have my 6 month appt. next week. crazy to think that there are only about 16 weeks left until you will be here. we have a lot to do before then, but i know that we will be ready for you whenever you decide to come. take your time, little one. we want everything to be perfect for you.
