dear baby. post 10.

dear baby,

today, we ordered a car seat and stroller for you! we can officially take you home from the hospital! yay! we got a nice car seat/stroller set and i hope that it is comfortable for you. i did a lot of research and i think i found the best one to meet our needs. your dad and i decided to cash in our amazon points to buy the set for you. i think it was worth it.

today was a big day for another reason...i felt you kicking today. it was only a couple of times and they were very tiny kicks but it was very exciting and made me so happy. your kicks are going to get stronger and stronger as you get bigger so i am going to enjoy these little kicks while i can. i didn’t know if they were kicks at first because i hadn’t felt them before. the first one was so small and i had to concentrate really hard to feel the next one. it almost felt like a little piece of popcorn popping inside my belly. just a quick little POP and then it was over. but as tiny as it was, it made my whole day. i can’t wait til they are little bit bigger so that your dad can feel them! that will be a very exciting day.

we are moving most of our stuff over to our new place at your grandparents house tomorrow. i hope it will all fit. things are going to be a little tight in there but i think we will manage. we are very grateful that your grandma and grandpa are letting us live with them for a little while. it will be a fun experience to live with them when you are born. i am going to need a lot of help and i will be a relief to have you grandma there for help. she knows everything about babies.

well, only a couple more weeks til we go to the doctor and can see you again. until then, keep growing and kicking.
